«This was one of about 18 art commissions that I did at Lake Como Comic Art Fest. I rarely do art commissions/convention sketches but it’s so beautiful and relaxed here at Lake Como that I was in a drawing mood. Also seeing Adam Hughes, Coipel, Jim Lee, Adi Granov, Gary Franks, Neal Adams, Liam Sharpe, Alex Alice, Juanjo Guarnido, etc and all these super talented people all sketching away just get you energized to draw. Just from a historic content, It’s like seeing Frazetta, Moebius, Wally Wood, John Buscema, Bernie Wrightson and other legends all in one room all drawing for fans. Big thanks to Steve Morger, Arnold and crew for creating this historic show a reality and making this one of my favorite shows of the year.»
