Female Character Workshop is almost here!- Live and On demand demo/assignments and feedback too!

Join us January 4th and 11th for this important live and on demand workshop: Female Characters with presentation, demonstration and in depth information by Jason MANLEY.

Related Important Info:

Character Design is one of the key areas artists deal with when working in entertainment, games, film, toys, comics and more.  This workshop will help illustrators, concept artists, 3d artists, animators and more to be able to design better female characters, costumes, and improve creating from imagination. Here are all the details including the early registration discount for color theory.

What is this?:  This is a live and on demand workshop which is geared to support this community.  Jason Manley will be covering the full spectrum of female character related topics, from the basics to advanced theory, all live and on demand. You can join in anywhere you have an internet connection right here on conceptart.org in the private participants forum.

Is this for me?- Whether you are a beginner who is looking to someday get into art school (this will certainly help), or an advanced student or a top professional, this online master class workshop will give you the boost you want to level up your skills and get better at what you do. If you draw, paint, design, do 3d, photography or visual art, this workshop is for you.

+++The best assignment from the workshop will be promoted through the 408,000 member newsletter which will land in the mailboxes of creative industry leaders from over 8000 companies registered to the site too.

When is it? The female character workshops first presentation happens Saturday Jan 4th. You will then be given an optional assignment to complete prior to the feedback session the following Saturday Jan 11th. The time it all goes down is 11:00 AM Central Time (Austin Texas time zone). It is available both live and On Demand.

How does it work? Once the registration is covered, you will receive an email password to access the private forum for the workshop. As with prior live streaming and on demand events here on conceptart.org we will be using a private channel which will enable you to join in live or on demand.

The female character workshop has two parts. Day one (Saturday Jan 4th) will have 3 hours of intensive and enlightening presentation and demonstrations on these important topics, then a workshop assignment will be given. You will be given the optional assignment and then the second phase of the workshop happens on day 2 (January 11th) when all those who participate will be given an opportunity for great feedback.

Both days are live and/or on demand. You can participate in feedback even if you are not present, by uploading your work to the provided assignment thread prior to the start of the second day workshop. The assignments are not required in order to participate. However, they are there to help you improve if you wish to do so, and we will be giving critiques.

How do I join? Simply cover the registration fee by sending $69.00 to [email]paypal@conceptart.org[/
email] and you will get a response with access to the workshop forum and workshop channel. Please choose goods and services as the option for paypal at the time of payment and mention which workshop(s you are selecting. The class has limited seating and will fill up.

How does this help the community and relief efforts?  First and foremost this is a workshop to help you, as an artist, to help you get where you want to be (including art school, a job, or further in your art career). As a community we all have needs. The need to learn--the need to grow, and the need to continue to have a positive impact in art and the world we are all a part of. Proceeds go to help cover further development on the site and cover server costs associated with keeping this community online and as a free resource.

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=273183 is the thread with all these details.

See you there and Happy NY!
